Penns Creek is named after one of the nearby tributaries of the Susquehanna River. In the heart of the Appalachians, our campus lies at the foot of the southern slope of Jack's Mountain.

We are less than sixty miles from Harrisburg, the state capital and only a short distance from Susquehanna University and Bucknell University, with Penn State University fifty miles to the west. These symbols of the 21st century's advancement are contrasted by the quaint Mennonite and Amish horse-and-buggies which can be seen on the public roadways—signs of the abiding culture of the Pennsylvania Dutch.
