At Penn View Bible Institute & Christian Academy, our mission is to prepare Christlike servant leaders. One of our social objectives is to assist students to become aware that they do not stand alone, but they are a responsible member of several social structures: family, church, nation and the world. We seek God’s direction and guidance in all we do and we take seriously our responsibility to make wise operational decisions and this includes our response to COVID-19. We want to avoid any outbreak on campus and be prepared in the case of widespread outbreak in our area. We want what is best for our entire campus and community.

After prayerful discussion and communication with our U.S. Congressman, State Representative, County Commissioners, Midd-west School District and Snyder County Emergency Management, the PVBI Administration has taken the following steps to keep all members as safe and healthy as possible! We believe these are helpful preventative measures to limit the risk related to COVID-19.

1. Academy will continue on its extended Break and will return to classes, Monday, March 23.

As COVID-19 seemingly continues to spread, our priority is to keep our students, faculty, staff and our community safe. Our decision is being made with much prayer, consultation and our people in mind. We love our students and community and want everyone to be safe. We are living in confidence that God is in control and our hope is in Him. Nothing takes Him by surprise! We do not need to fear! We pray the Lord sustains you with the confidence of the psalmist David, who said of the one who fears the Lord and delights in His commandments, “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.” Psalm 112:7
